Thanks to its industry leading IK10 (50 JOULE) rating, the Solid Plus Heat LED’s structure and materials guarantee the best possible protection for the AED against vandalism. With no locks, fragile parts or hinges, the opening mechanism is rock solid and long lasting. The IK10 (50 JOULE) is the international standard for maximum protection against vandalism and our cabinet was successfully tested on this standard by agency Eurofins.

The Solid Plus Heat LED comes with a sturdy IP56 protection against intrusion and moisture. With rain and other forms of precipitation having no effect on the inside of the cabinet, the AED remains operational at all times. The intrusion protection allows for reassuring outdoor installation, also near the shoreline since the materials used are resistant to salt spray.

Eurofins tested and passed the cabinet on IP56 and salt-spray protection.

All manufacturers guarantee the operation of their AED devices when the temperature is between 0 and 50 degrees. Therefore, the Solid Plus Heat LED is equipped with a custom-made heating system to ensure that the AED remains available during times of frost.

This state-of-the-art system is effective but also very energy efficient to ensure its sustainable character. It is automatically controlled, self-limiting and operates on a safe 24 Volt, low power rating. Its easy installation and modular set-up allow for a flexible and long-lasting operation. 8 LED lights are integrated to ensure findability of the AED during the dark hours of the day.The high-quality Polycarbonate cover, fitted with UV filters, guarantees long-term transparency and high-quality appearance of the cabinet, with very limited decay.

To ensure the AED stays within its operational temperature during the whole year, the cabinet should be installed in the shade at all times.

The heating capacity has been tested by DEKRA in accordance with the above-mentioned range.
